when mum made this dish, i had no idea it was called bangers and mash, i just loved sticking the sausage in the potatoes. when mum told me the name today, we had a good laugh. great dish.

How could anyone not like bangers and mash? Unless you don't like potatoes or sausages that is.

As for the recipe - boil potatoes, then mash, cook sausages, serve with potatoes. There is no correct type of sausage. Delicious with onion gravy.
